The caramel mac nut tart from Hawaii Tart Company is one of the most perfect desserts I ever encountered.  I like food that has interesting and varying texture; the crust is flaky, the mac nuts crunchy and the sweet honey-caramel is ooey-gooey heaven.  I like to serve mine at room temp so the caramel is soft but I must confess, I have eaten one straight from the freezer!  Slightly warm with some Tahitian vanilla ice cream is also highly recommended. I always have an extra one in the freezer for last-minute dinner companions or to take as a hostess gift. (pre-Covid)  I gave them as amenity gifts one holiday to my vacation rental clients who were delighted with a locally baked treat.   I have even sent them to family in Virginia, they mail well!
